Project Assembly

This project involves the assembly of various electronic components, which I will be soldering by hand. Below is the Bill of Materials (BOM) for the project:

Bill of Materials (BOM)

  • 12 Cherry MX keys
  • 12 See-through keycaps: Link
  • 12X M3 screw
  • PCB
  • 2 EC11 rotary encoders
  • 2X 4.7k 0805 Resistor
  • 5X 10k 0805 Resistor
  • 2 EC11 rotary encoder knobs
  • XIAO RP2040 THT MCU
  • MCP23008 SOIC version: Link
  • 28 WS2812B NeoPixel LEDs
  • VL53L0X Time of Flight sensor: Link
  • DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor: Link
  • 12 IN4148 THT diodes
  • SSD1306 0.96" OLED display: Link

Assembly Notes:

  • The VL53L0X sensor may require hand-soldering if the footprint doesn’t match the PCB.
  • Case Parts: You can view the case parts in this video: Video.

JLCPCB SETTINGS:

  • During Ordering From JLCPCB PLEASE CHANGE THIS SETTINGS image to this settings

Design Choices:

  • Case_bot.stl,case_top: Black color
  • PCB: Black
  • name.stl,oled_mount.stl Red color
